An original take on the Red Riding Hood story. Lucy Jones is walking through the forest wearing her red anorak, when a wolf leaps out and tells her: "I am your destiny and you are my dinner". Lucy assures him that she is not Red Riding Hood, but the wolf doesn't believe her. He follows her all the way to London, where her granny and granddad live in a tower block. The wolf decides to stay and pretend to be a dog and causes chaos on the estate in his desire to make sure everyone he meets 'lives happily ever after'. A hilarious modern day fairy tale from the author of Vlad the Drac.

"A tremendously funny novel, full of delightful absurdities and a quite sophisticated wit" The Guardian
Lucy Jones was going to visit her grandmother when she met a large, grey wolf. 'Don't you recognise me, my dear?' asked the wolf. 'Can't say that I do,' said Lucy.
'Don't you know the story? First I follow you to your granny's house. I eat her, then I eat you up as well. I'm your destiny. Your fate. You're red Riding Hood and I'm the wolf, Now do you see?'
'Look,' said Lucy crossly. 'I'm not Red Riding Hood.' I'm Lucy Jones, wearing my red anorak.'
And that's where the fun begins!
