Synopsis

Review
This story is about a mouse who is scared that the Big Hungry Bear is going to take his strawberry, so after attempting to hide it, the mouse cuts it in two and shares it with the reader. This is a popular story with children and they love the excitement of Big Hungry Bear, even though they never get to see him. The props included in the sack help to bring the story to life and make it more interactive. This story is a great starting point for discussions around feeling frightened, especially of things that may not be real and are just in their imaginations.
