hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 312pp. (black spine) 1979. Third edition.Revised and updated. Upper edge gilt. The text supported by a lengthy plate section in the middle of the book with numerous photographic reproductions of watches in b/w, but also 16 plates at the front in colour. Upper edge gilt. Original red ribbon page divider still present but with some fading and fraying to the very final section which sits beyond the book edge. Some notable spotting to the leading fore-edge (the lower and the gilded upper appear very largely free of it) with some associated mostly light spotting to the extreme page margins of some pages, which hardly affects the plate sections. The jacket has not been price-clipped; it has a short open tear to one joint at the head of the spine and an expertly repaired short tear to the head of the upper panel. It also has some light shelf wear. A very good, tight copy in very good jacket. Seller Inventory # 024039
