Synopsis
The Second International Meeting on Optogalvanic Spectroscopy and allied topics was held at Strathclyde University in August 1990. This volume contains invited lectures, contributed papers and poster papers which cover a wide range of the latest spectroscopic techniques. The proceedings are divided into nine sections relating to various aspects of the subject. These include molecules, plasma sheaths, optogalvanic modelling, resonance radiation trapping, resonance ionization spectroscopy, plasma diagnostics, penning and autoionization.
