This is a data source describing emerging biotechnology trends in developing countries and in Central and Eastern Europe. The first section consists of individual country profiles, describing national policy, funding, and biotechnology research initiatives particular to that country. The second section is a directory of names and addresses of selected research institutes, and details on their research activities particular to that country.
