Synopsis
This reference provides access to over 10,000 listings of associations, clubs, societies, companies, charities, educational establishments, government bodies and other organizations which provide information freely or on a fee-paying basis. Each entry is listed alphabetically and includes the organization's name and contact details, organization type and purpose, and lists publications and collections where appropriate. There are also 3500 e-mail addresses and 3200 web site addresses. There is a comprehensive, cross-referenced subject index, and list of acronyms and abbreviations. The CD-ROM of the directory has a keyword search facility and 7000 hotlinks to e-mail and web sites.
