About the Author
Known principally in the horse world as a side-saddle expert, Janet Macdonald has travelled extensively throughout the UK, Europe and North America teaching this specialized form of riding and has visited many stable yards over the years. These she has observed, not only through the eyes of a horsewoman, but also through the eyes of an efficient businesswoman with professional expertise in the fields of accountancy and business management. In her books on business management she applies her managerial and financial skills to the problems of running businesses focused on horses and how they can operate as sound commercial ventures.
