About the author: John Bell gained experience of industrial relations, personnel management development in Ford Motor Companyand the Pye of Cambridge group of companies before joining the EITB to assist in developing Employee Relations training for managers. In recent years he has worked extensively in consultancy and management training and has a particular interest in helping managers in smaller companies. He is a graduate in Economics and Politics of the University of Durham.
