As anyone who has tried to hit a little white ball into a hole with an odd-shaped stick knows, golf is hard! It is well worth taking time to glean every pointer and secret you can from the experts. Mastery in life is even harder. How do we glean the secrets of effective Christian living? From God's Word, in prayer, and from brothers and sisters with more experience than we.
Golf Lessons for Life appeals to both believers and would-be believers. It contains golf instruction as well as life and faith lessons. Many golfers have not been exposed to God's Word or grown in their faith due to Sunday morning tee times. Golf Lessons for Life can be one of the greatest outdrawing parallels between golf and life.
The video is hosted by renowned golf instructor and PGA Tour Player, Wally Armstrong, the author of the best-selling book "In His Grip". Joining him is Pete McDaniels, senior columnist for Golf Digest and author of two Tiger Woods books as well as the best selling book "Uneven Lies: the Heroic History of Afro-Americans in Golf". This is a great tool for Sunday School classes or small group Bible studies.

This book is about God, Golf, and Life - exciting stuff!
In His Grip was just a file folder of ideas about the parallels between life and golf and faith until clinical depression left me at home unable to work or play golf. I used the time and tragedy in my life to begin writing the book. It is 67 one page thoughts about these parallels with scripture verses from the Bible for each page. The incredible design and photography from Koechel-Peterson Design have made this one of the most beautiful books you will find, especially if you love the game of golf. All of this has made it a popular gift book. Most people who get it as a gift have to have more copies for their friends and want to get on our mailing list. The book has sold nearly 200,000 copies and has been a great encouragement to men and women, young and old. I love to hear the stories of how it has changed lives and helped people enjoy golf. Several small groups have begun using the book and our study guide for study together. My thanks go to the co-author and golf pro Wally Armstrong and to Billy Graham and Tom Lehman who contributed so much to the success of the book. My address is at the back of that book and our second one, Playing the Game.
