Synopsis

In fact, the author argues that this belief is the key to survival in today's highspeed, impersonal society. He argues that to become a servant is essential for every Christian and he examines all the aspects of servanthood in turn - its influence, perils, consequences and rewards. The book takes a practical and encouraging view of the servant's need to be obedient, to give, to forgive and forget, following in the steps of Jesus.

About the Author
Charles R. Swindoll has devoted his life to the clear, practical teaching and application of God's Word. He currently pastors Stonebriar Community Church in Frisco, Texas, and serves as the chancellor of Dallas Theological Seminary. His renowned Insight for Living radio program airs around the world. Chuck and Cynthia, his partner in life and ministry, have four grown children and ten grandchildren.
