Hardcover, stated 2nd edition in good condition. This would be a very-good copy but for itnense underlining through the first 20 pages - apparently that's as far as they made it into the text. The remaining chapters appear clean and unmarked. Minor shelfwear to the covers(mostly scuffing). Binding is sturdy. 404 pp., color and b/w photos. A detailed microbiology textbook.
