About the Author
Anne Griswold Tyng, architect and theorist for her pioneering work in space frame architecture, worked with Louis Kahn from 1945 until his death in 1974. She received her M.Arch. from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and her Ph.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, where she has taught for twenty-five years. She is a Fellow of the American Institute of Architects, and Academician of the National Academy of Design.
