Condition: Near fine. Quarto sized metal mirrored box. 10 x 11 1/4". Approx 50 loose pieces, prepared as a Exhibition Catalogue for MOCA show in 1993. "The box contains an exceptionally wide range of materials, printed in different formats, often on translucent paper, which can be read in any order. The publication accompanies a major exhibition . conceived by Cage as a 'composition for museum.' The box includes reprints of texts that Cage found useful and inspiring, as well as important new essays. Also included are writings and letters by Cage, reproductions of works by Cage and others, musical scores, recipes, advice on healthy eating, and photographs"- Box has very minor surface scratches and a bump to bottom, contents fine. This copy with a signed letter from the director and curator to Mr. & Mrs. Robert Wood indicating that it is one of the first copies produced. Seller Inventory # 56113

Hard Cover. Condition: Fine. First Edition. This is a fine copy still in the publisher's shrinkwrap. It has not been opened. The metal box for this work is often seen in less than fine condition, as the box tends to warp. Our copy has not been opened, but the top looks a little depressed on one side, under the shrinkwrap, possibly once opened it would just pop back up. 10" high X 12" wide. A fine unopened copy.
