Warren A. James is an architect in practice in New York and the author of Rizzoli's Ricardo Bofill/Taller de Arquitectura: Buildings and Projects 1960-1985. Christian Norberg-Schulz is a professor of architecture at the University of Oslo, Norway, and the author of Architecture: Meaning and Place and Genius Loci: Toward a Phenomenology of Architecture, both published by Rizzoli. Joseph Giovannini is a nationally known architectural author and critic and the principal of his own design firm. Thomas L. Schumacher is a professor of architecture at the University of Maryland and the author of Surface & Symbol: Giuseppe Terragni and the Architecture of Italian Rationalism.
