About the Authors

Yuval Levin is the director of Social, Cultural, and Constitutional
Studies at the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), where he also holds the
Beth and Ravenel Curry Chair in Public Policy.

Adam J. White is a senior fellow at the American Enterprise Institute and
codirector of the C. Boyden Gray Center for the Study of the Administrative
State at the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University.

John Yoo is a nonresident senior fellow at AEI, Emanuel S. Heller
Professor of Law at the University of California, Berkeley, and a visiting
fellow at the Hoover Institution.

Danielle Allen is a professor of public policy, politics, and ethics at Harvard University; director of the Allen Lab for Democracy Renovation at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government; and author of Our Declaration: A Reading of the Declaration of Independence in Defense of Equality (2014).

Peter Berkowitz is the Tad and Dianne Taube Senior Fellow at the Hoover Institution at Stanford University. He has served as director of the State Department's Policy Planning Staff, executive secretary of the department's Commission on Unalienable Rights, and senior adviser to the secretary of state.
