Soft cover. Condition: Near Fine. Originally published in 1951 as the digest-format "Galaxy SF Novel #6", this is the September 1966 first paperback edition, Belmont #B50-708, AND the 1977 second paperback edition, Leisure Books #444ZK, both in collectible condition. The Belmont paperback is unread, in near fine condition, marred only by a former owner's date stamp on the front end paper ("NOV 29 1966", just a couple of months after publication), plus some sun-fade to publisher's green stain around the text block, light age toning to insides of the covers, and traces of edge wear. Its binding is tight and square, with no reading creases in the spine or hinges. Covers are bright and unmarked. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. The Leisure Books paperback is also in near fine condition, possibly unread, marred only by a very shallow spine crease, otherwise as new. Its binding is tight and square, with no hinge creases. Covers are bright and unmarked. Pages are unworn and unmarked, with unfaded publisher's light yellow stain around edges of the text block. As with all Space Age Book purchases, I will ship these books in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure they reach their proud new owner in the same condition as my description. Bibliographic note: versions of the Belmont edition were printed both in the USA and Canada, with no precedence between the two. This copy has "Printed in Canada" on its copyright page.
