Attack Math Each arithmetic operation is covered in three books, with Book 1 teaching basic facts and Books 2 and 3 teaching multidigit computation with whole numbers. In addition to teaching basic facts, all 4 first books ask students to draw pictures to find answers and to solve application-story problems. Each Book 1 contains Checkpoints and a Testpoint to evaluate progress. In Books 2 and 3 for each operation a flagpole features the sequence of steps to be followed for each new procedure.
