Many of us struggle daily with the dark and painful thoughts hidden in our hearts and minds. These thoughts cripple us in countless ways and harm our relationships with one another. We want things to change because we don t want to feel this much pain. But change is uncomfortable and scary and where do we even begin? In Messages to Myself, author Helen McIntosh addresses the very real need of dealing with the damaging and destructive messages that fill our minds. With compassion and honesty, she teaches us how to recognize the damaging messages and look at ourselves through God s perspective. Through her insights and experiences as a counselor, McIntosh provides the guidance and tools we need to reframe our thoughts and find release from the things that hold us back from all that God wants for us.
