About the Author

Dr. Park is an OB/GYN and professor emeritus from the University of California-Davis Medical School. Dr. Park is also the Founder and President of Spiritual Awakening Mission Care, International (SAM-Care). SAM-Care is a non-profit organization that aims to provide medical care and humantiarian assitance to the most desolate regions around the globe. More importantly, SAM-Care aims to share the light and hope of the gospel of Jesus Christ in these dark and forsaken regions. Currently, SAM-Care runs charity hospitals and clinics along the border region between North Korea to treat the poor and the sick. SAM-Care has a membership of over fifteen thousand prayer partners worldwide.
