<p>Philip E. Satterthwaite is principal and lecturer in Old Testament, Hebrew and hermeneutics at Biblical Graduate School of Theology in Singapore.</p>

<p>J. Gordon McConville is professor of Old Testament theology at the University of Gloucestershire in Cheltenham, England. He is the author of several books and studies on Old Testament topics, including <em>Law and Theology in Deuteronomy</em> (JSOT Press), <em>Time and Place in Deuteronomy</em> (with J. G. Millar, JSOT Press) and <em>Judgment and Promise: An Introduction to the Book of Jeremiah</em> (Apollos).</p>
