How to use this manual
Some of you may come across this title and wonder what it is. I designed it as a course to be done in small groups--preferably with those who have a real interest in serving Christ's cause in a cross-cultural context. I used an internationl group of experienced authors from 10 countries to write each of the 12 chapters. Questions and exercises are incorporated into each of the lessons and it is these items that provide material for discussion in a small group forum.
The manual works different areas of an individual's life and encourages self-assessment of readiness to work in another culture. Although it was designed and prepared for "tentmakers," it is an excellent resource for anyone considering cross-cultural Christian ministry deployment. The manual is also available in Spanish, Portuguese, Korean and Arabic.
