Marriages have a better opportunity of thriving when couples spend time together with God. InJust Us, David and Jan Stoop provide just what couples need to make the most of the precious time they spend together seeking God. Each week’s devotions revolve around a specific theme. In just a few minutes each day, couples will focus on God’s view of marriage, how God blesses marriage, how to grow in love and intimacy, faithfulness, improving communication, resolving conflicts, the roles of husband and wife, building trust, forgiveness, the importance of prayer and how to have an intentional marriage. At the end of each devotion, couples will enjoy the “Talking Together” section with thought-provoking questions for the couple to discuss and further develop the theme or strengthen it in their marriage. By setting aside short daily times together each week, every couple has the opportunity to plant these themes deeper into their lives. What a gift for couples!

Marriage is designed to be a three-party covenant, not a two-party contract— only God’s presence and power can join two people in an unbreakable relationship.
When they draw close to Him, couples discover a deeper intimacy with each other, and they strengthen the ties of love that bind them together. You and your spouse can experience this renewed closeness with God and each other as you seek Him together! These daily readings will get you thinking about what marriage is and praying about what your marriage can be. In 13 weeks, you’ll discover how God views and blesses marriage, how to resolve conflicts and improve communication, how to forgive and trust one another, and how to build an intentional marriage by praying together. As you set aside a few minutes each day to connect with God and each other, you’ll find your hearts bound by a strong, tender and lasting love.
