'Some wonderful speakers get persuaded to write books that end up being okay but they are not really writers. Mike, however, most definitely has the gift of crafting words with the pen (or keyboard). Godzone is delightfully written, rich in metaphor and stories, and resonates with the reality of faith in everyday life. Its most extraordinary achievement is that the Christian spiritual journey is navigated without using religious language. I don't know of any other book that does this as well. About the Author
Mike Riddell was for many years a regular columnist for Third Way magazine. He is the author of Sacred Journey: Spiritual Wisdom for Times of Transition (to be reissued by SPCK in 2010) which won Foreword magazine's Book of the Year Award in 2002 and, with Mike Pierson and Cathy Kirkpatrick, of the groundbreaking Prodigal Project (SPCK, 2000). He was awarded a PhD by the University of Otago, New Zealand, before taking up his latest career as a screenwriter and establishing Holy Bucket Productions. He lives with his wife in North Island, New Zealand.
