About the Authors

Patricia M. Burbank, DNSc, RN, is a professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Rhode Island and faculty member in the Rhode Island Geriatric Education Center.



Deborah Riebe, PhD, FACSM, is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Physical Education and Exercise Science and a member of the Health Promotion Partnership at the University of Rhode Island.
