About the Authors

Callista Roy, PhD, RN, FAAN, Professor, William F. Connell School of Nursing, Boston College, has been involved in nursing education for 46 years.



Dorothy A. Jones, EdD, RNC, ANP, FAAN, is a Professor of Adult Health at the William F. Connell School of Nursing at Boston College, where she formerly served as Chair of the Adult Health Department from 1995 to 1999. She is a Senior Nurse Scientist at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, and formerly a President of the Eastern Nursing Resesarch Society.
