Synopsis

First Festival Solos: 20 easy Flute solos with Piano Accompaniments. Carl Fischer presents a new collection of solo pieces with piano accompaniments for use at festival adjudicated events or in recitals. These solos are written by two of the most popular composers of music for students: Larry Clark and Sean O'Loughlin. The solos range in difficulty from grades 1 to 2 and are progressively arranged in the book. There is a wide variety of musical styles from original compositions to beautiful arrangements of folk songs and classical pieces. Each volume includes a CD of full-version recordingsfor the student to use as examples, as well as piano-only recordings to use in practice. The CD also contains piano accompaniments as printable PDF files, so that the student can print the solo they need for the accompanist. This collection of solos is destined to be on every state contest/festival required music list.
