The author or coauthor of over 50 technical papers, Dr. Jagerman is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He received the B.E.E. degree from the Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, New York, New York, and the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from New York University, New York. He was a distinguished member of the technical staff at Bell Laboratories; professor of mathematics at Fairleigh Dickinson University, Teaneck, New Jersey; and professor of mathematics and later computer science at Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey.
