Synopsis
"There was a timelessness about the Abrolhos, and a tranquillity that was almost irresistible, but Julie refused to acknowledge it. Her frustrated mind saw only bland dreariness. If she stayed here much longer, she thought, she would die of boredom. If only another boat would come. If only it would rain, or a storm would blow up. If only something would happen." Fifteen-year-old Julie resents having to go on a family yachting trip. She would much rather be at home hanging out with her friends. But the beautiful windswept Abrolhos Islands hold a deadly secret. Before long Julie's wish for adventure is answered and finds herself caught up in a 300-year-old nightmare of treachery and murder.
