Synopsis

Works by the author and other artists such as Dana Van Horn, Edward Schmidt and Daniel Dallmann are included and issues which are important to working artists such as drawing from photographs, refining and reworking an image and overcoming psychological conflicts that sometimes hamper the creative process are discussed. The book is intended for beginners who are searching for ways to express themselves and for more advanced painters who are looking for new directions and ways to improve their skills. The author has been an instructor of screen printing, drawing and painting. He has also written "Dynamic Still Lifes in Watercolor".
