About the Author

William A. Covino, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor of English at San Diego State University. Peter Z. Orton (B.A., Harvard; M. Ed., Princeton) is a test preparation lecturer and instructor for many California State Universities. Both authors have researched and developed test preparation programs for many universities, colleges, and law schools since 1979 and have authored numerous test preparation books used throughout the nation.
