Synopsis
An instructional book discussing both compositional and technical methods of perfecting photographs. Drawing on images from his own files the author couples average photographs with greatly improved images of the same scene to explain how to improve photographic vision. He suggests that the major change the photographer must undergo is to see what the lens sees and put aside the concept of "normal vision". To illustrate this he covers a wide range of subjects from scenics to portraits.
