‘The most profound and complete near-death experience ever.’ RAYMOND MOODY
Betty Eadie died after an operation, but was later to recover. It was during the intervening period of a few hours that she had what has been described as 'the most profound near-death experience ever'. Her description of her experience in this astonishing book is one of the most convincing arguments for the existence of life after death, adding to such accounts as George Ritchie's 'Return From Tomorrow' and Dr Raymond A Moody's 'Life After Life'.
You will not fail to be moved by Betty's story. A devoted mother with a loving family, she embarked on a voyage of discovery, leaving her body and learning 'the joy of spiritual freedom'. She saw more, perhaps, than any other person has seen before, and came back with an almost photographic view. 'Embraced By The Light' recounts the people she met, the truths she learned and the magnificent realities of the spirit world.
The afterworld Betty visited was a sphere of understanding, peace and joy. She was given a message to share with others that has filled hundreds of thousands of people with hope. Her experiences changed her life forever. Reading this fascinating, dramatic, and thought-provoking book may change yours too.
Betty J Eadie is a mother of eight children and a grandmother of eight, and is married to Joe. The daughter of a Sioux Indian mother, she left school at 15 to care for a younger sister. She later returned to finish her high-school education, and is now close to completing a college degree. A registered counsellor, she owns a successful business, and works as a volunteer for a major cancer research centre.
Betty's extraordinary experience has led to television appearances in the United States and Japan, and to her participation in a university near-death studies programme. Over the years she has given hundreds of talks about her experience to many groups, including Compassionate Friends (serving those who have lost loved ones), church groups of many denominations and IANDS (International Association for Near-Death Studies).
