Synopsis

About the Author
James P. Pfiffner is a professor in the School of Public Policy at George Mason University. An expert on the presidency, the federal government, and public administration, he has written or edited ten books, including The Character Factor: How We Judge America's Presidents (Texas A&M University Press, 2004).
