In response to the use of genetically–enigneered mice in the biomedical research revolution in technology, this book brings together the collective expertise of many specialists to cover the approaches to organ–specific evaluations, to provide examples of many currently available mutant mice, to illustrate how specific defects can be studied, and to present methods for evaluation of live mice. It will provide state–of–the art methods that can be used by pathologists, biologists, molecular biologists and other scientists.
