About the Author
Brian Lamb, the founding CEO of C-SPAN, was the host of Booknotes since its inception in 1989, and has read each of the more than 600 books that the program has featured. In 2012, Lamb stepped down as CEO of C-SPAN, handing over control to Rob Kennedy and Susan Swain. Lamb is known for his intelligence and his evenhanded interview style.
