Hardcover first printing with dustjacket, this copy is inscribed, dated "Christmas, 1987" and signed by the author, it is inscribed to Barnettt Hoffner, one of the participants at Slapton Sands, he is mentioned on pages 116-117 of this book, also included is a handwritten letter to participant Hoffner from a student in Portugal requesting information on the Slapton Sands disaster and D-Day, and a typed postcard from a colleague about an upcoming television show about Slapton Sands, book is clean inside and out with no significant flaws, the dustjacket is soiled on the rear panel, the original price is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included; Signed by Author.
