Synopsis

Beginning with the colours of the ancient Egyptians and ending with the colours of the late 20th century, each scheme is individually presented, profiled, and illustrated in a handy gatefold format, with representative four-colour images and accurate color-bar reference for matching against the project at hand. Text for each palette explains the background history of the colour scheme.

Margaret Walch has worked at The Color Association of the US, where she is involved with the forecasting sessions that chart color taste for the American textile, fashion, and allied industries.
