Aug 12 This new book by Ellen Spector Platt features 46 projects for creating beautiful collage artwork by repurposing keepsakes, leftover craft materials and items you can find around the house or even along the street. As someone who loves picture books and keepsakes, I was very interested in this book, and it didn't disappoint. It's got some really great "out of the box" ideas to help you commemorate the events in your life, such as a collage which is based on a trip to the Evergladses. And it can also help you to create meaningful works of art as well as abstract pieces. And the projects are centered around repurposing keepsakes, leftover craft projects, stuff from your junk drawer, and even packaging materials. It is great for crafters of all skill levels. If you are a beginner, it goes through all the tools and materials that you will need to get started and tells you how to manipulate these in to a work of art.
