Synopsis
'When my room is dark and I snuggle in bed my eyes should be closed but theyre open instead. Noises at night float all over the house - the bark of a dog or the scratch of a mouse. I like to pretend when I shut off the light, the noises turn into adventures at night.' And so begins this classic bedtime tale where a little boy begins to fantasize about all the strange noises he hears around his house. The drip of the faucet becomes the waves splashing the bow of his great ship, the boom of thunder is the drumroll for a circus trapaeze artist, the tick tock of the clock is the sound of his horse trotting on the cattle ranch, the hiss of the radiator is a snake ready to be charmed...and the fun continues until the little boy is exhausted from his adventures and falls asleep.
