Synopsis
This book of meditations is meant for the young person who, having matured, is ready to start on a journey of daily reflective prayer. Technically, the readings are Scripture-based meditations, and not necessarily even paraphrases. The author has reflected on selected scripture verses and restructured them in more modern and familiar language that will be more appealing to the "young-at-heart," capturing the gist of the text without being too scholarly. The author's intent here is to provide an easy-to-read primer to help the almost adult person develop a pattern of prayer, reflection, and daily meditation. Their reward will be joy and peace of spirit and mind gained by personal contact with God through meditation.
