Walking the Blue Ridge has detailed descriptions of every trail that comes in contact with the Blue Ridge Parkway. I walked each of the trails with a measuring wheel to insure accuracy of mileage. The book has garnered favorable reviews and in now in its third printing, having been updated twice. In addition to route descriptions, there is information on history, plants, animals, geology, and other items of interest you may encounter while walking or hiking.
