Mariana Souto-Manning is associate professor and coordinator of the Early Childhood Education Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. Her books include Courageous Leadership in Early Childhood Education, Multicultural Teaching in the Early Childhood Classroom, and Teachers Act Up!
