About the Author

Sarah Robbins is Professor of English at Kennesaw State University, Georgia.

Dyer is co-director of Keeping and Creating American Communities and coordinator of the Advanced Mathematics, Science and Technology Academy at Kennesaw Mountain High School.

Paul Lauter is the Smith Professor of Literature at Trinity College. He has served as president of the American Studies Association and is a major figure in the revision of the American literary canon.
