The late Arthur Wellesley Foshay was a Professor Emeritus at Teachers College, Columbia University. The recipient of many honors and awards, he was also President of the John Dewey Society, President of the Association for the Supervision and Curriculum Development (ASCD), and cofounder of the IEA.
