About the Author

William Spence was Professor of Construction Engineering at the School of Technology and Applied Science. As well as writing articles for magazines, he has written numerous successful books including RESIDENTIAL FRAMING AND WOODWORKING BASICS. Spence has designed homes and built two of his own.
