About the Author

Dana Chidekel, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist who specializes in evaluating children and in counseling them and their parents. Dr. Chidekel has specialized training in neuro-psychology, and speaks to parents and professionals on a variety of child-and-parent-related topics, including self-esteem, successful toilet training, kindergarten readiness, overscheduling, and the diagnosis and treatment of ADD. She lives near Los Angeles, California, with her husband and their two children.
