Synopsis
An author's quest to discover what really happened to his uncle in World War II

He tracked down surviving crewmembers and even found the brother of the Luftwaffe pilot who downed the B-17. About the Author
Bob Korkuc is an electrical engineer who lives in Amherst, New Hampshire.
James M. McCaffrey is retired as Professor of History at the University of Houston–Downtown and is author of several books, including Inside the Spanish-American War: A History Based on First-Person Accounts.
