About the Author

Stephen J. Guastello, Ph.D. is a Professor of Psychology at Marquette University, Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he specializes in human factors engineering and ergonomics, industrial-organizational psychology, and nonlinear dynamical systems theory applications. He is the author of over 100 technical articles and book chapters on these topics. His two previous books are Chaos, Catastrophe, and Human Affairs: Applications of Nonlinear Dynamics to Work, Organizations, and Social Evolution and Managing Emergent Phenomena: Nonlinear Dynamics in Work Organizations, both published by LEA.
