About the Author
Steven Kellogg is the acclaimed illustrator and author of more than a hundred books for children. Among them are Can I Keep Him?, The Island of the Skog, Best Friends, The Missing Mitten Mystery, and The Mysterious Tadpole. Steven has received numerous accolades for his work, including the prestigious Regina Medal for his lifetime contribution to children's literature. He and his wife, Helen, live in Essex, New York.
