Synopsis

A little girl dreams that she's all alone at sea in a tiny boat. It's dark, and the sea is scary. Then she sees the gentle moon, the first sign of God's love. About the Author:

Kathi Appelt grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Texas A&M University in 1979 with a B. A. in English and Theatre Arts. She is a frequent visitor in schools and at writing workshops and is the regional advisor for the Brazos Valley Society of Childrens Book Writers and Illustrators. Kathi currently has over twenty-five books under contract and lives in College Station, Texas.
